The CargoTrac International Airfreight System has been tailored to the special requirements of the Airfreight Forwarding Industry. Providing full information and operations control during the distribution of freight, from the time that the Shipper contacts the Airfreight Forwarding company, through the local office, to the gateway office, to its international destination, through customs clearance, and to the freight's final delivery destination.

As with all the CargoTrac modules, the International Airfreight Forwarding System is based around the Freight Bill Entry System. This has been customized to more accurately reflect the requirements of airfreight forwarders. The Freight Bill Entry System has been designed to accommodate both HAWB and MAWB entries. All the other operational aspects of the CargoTrac System have been tailored to the particular requirements of the airfreight industry. With the Airfreight Forwarding System on CargoTrac , there is much more assistance rendered to the operator in terms of routing of shipments, rate calculation, consolidations and invoicing.

The Air Waybill Entry System includes the Airfreight Forwarders estimated payout on each consignment, the number of invoices anticipated and all other additional information to enable the System Administrators and Financial Officers to maintain tight control over income and expenditure on each consignment. All IATA bills are prepared and as the consignment moves through the system, not only is its current status updated, but also all the required information with regard to the next step in its journey is entered to provide the operators with greater control.

The ability to reconcile the estimated payout on each consignment with the vendor invoices received, referring to that consignment, provides significant cost savings. There is also the ability to append supplemental invoices to a Master Air Waybill or House Air Waybill after consolidation has taken place and the manifest has been closed. All the tariffs and rates for every commodity and airline can be easily accessed and printed with the system providing all necessary routing and rating information to the operator. The CargoTrac International Airfreight System has been specifically designed for ease of shipment processing, while ensuring that the system collects all relevant data for production of associated documentation, alerting, customer support, tracking, tracing and financial accounting.
